A series of letters exchanged between the authors describing relations between French- and English-Canadians in the early 1960s. Gwethalyn Graham (1913-1965) was an Ontario-born novelist who moved to the Montreal in 1934, where she lived until her death. Solange Chaput-Rolland (1919-2001) was a Montreal-born journalist, author and politician.
