Abstract |
The "Commission for Enquiring into the Losses, Services, and Claims of the American Loyalists" was established by an Act of the British Parliament in July 1783. Two commissioners, Jeremy Pemberton and Col. Thomas Dundas, held hearings in Quebec City and Montreal from May 1787 to June 1788.
