| Abstract |
An examination of the inequities in school "capital" between Francophones and Anglophones in Quebec between 1972 and 1977. The author studies access to the school structure itself and whether it contains relevant factors in explaining differences between Francophones and non-Francophones level of access to the structure of employment and, more generally, for understanding the "francophonisation" of the labor market. The author found that a higher percentage of Francophones (24.2%) did not finish high school compared to Anglophones (18.3%). More Anglophone students went on to university compared to Francophone students.
